Rogation Sunday will see the vicar of Kings Landing, the Rev. Canon Walter Williams, lead a procession around the village as he asks God's blessing on various aspects of farm life — the animals, the fields, the plough, the water and so on.
The service begins at St. Mark's Chapel of Ease. It is a 15-minute walk from the Kings Landing welcome centre to the chapel, and there is also a horse and wagon, subject to availability.
All are welcome. Admission is free for those attending this service.
Take exit 253 off Route 2 and follow the signs.
NOTE: There is an afternoon service every Sunday at St. Mark's from June 8 to Thanksgiving. All are welcome, and admission is free for those attending the service.
