Conference on combatting ageism to mark International Day of Older Persons, hosted by the Third Age Centre, taking place at Journey Church, 131 Duncan Lane, Fredericton. Keynotes by Dr. Janice Keefe, professor and Chair of Family Studies and Gerontology at Mount Saint Vincent University and director of the Nova Scotia Centre on Aging; and Dr. Deborah K. van den Hoonaard, sociologist and Professor Emerita, St. Thomas University. Panel discussion with the presenters and two other gerontology experts, Dr. Janet Durkee Lloyd and Dr. Bill Randall, with audience participation.

All COVID-19 protocols will be respected with mask wearing, space for distancing and proof of vaccines required. Light refreshments will be provided. Cost $20 for members, $25 for non-members with a special student rate. Seating is limited.
