DESCRIPTION:Christians around the world are invited to give particular atte
 ntion to praying and caring for God’s creation as part of the global Se
 ason of Creation\, observed every year from September 1\, the Global Day o
 f Prayer for the Care of Creation\, to October 4\, St Francis of Assisi Da
 y.\nThis year’s theme is Living Water. Drawn from Ezekiel’s biblical v
 ision (Ezekiel 47:1-12)\, it highlights a river of life flowing from God\,
  restoring barren lands\, reviving polluted waters\, and sustaining flouri
 shing ecosystems. It focuses on ecological healing\, hope and the interdep
 endence of humanity and nature.\nIn the Anglican Church of Canada\, Genera
 l Synod 2019 passed a resolution adopting the Season of Creation as a tim
 e of prayer\, education and action\, encouraging dioceses and parishes to 
 participate. A new addition to the Church’s liturgical life\, the Feast 
 of the Creator has been adopted as a major feast within our calendar. The 
 feast may be celebrated on September 1\, to usher in the Season of Creatio
 n\, or transferred to a Sunday within the season.
