Prayers needed
As most of you know, the Parish of Lancaster and the Springthorpe family are coping with the sudden death of the Rev. Jonathan Springthorpe on April 13. Please be in prayer for his wife, Kristen, and their children: Elijah, Jeremy and Olivia. Read his obituary here. Jonathan's funeral will be live-streamed on the Church of the Resurrection FB page. Thursday, April 21 at 10 a.m. Archbishop David and Debbie Edwards are in the UK this week for the funeral of Janet's stepmother. As they were preparing to leave Canada last week, they got word that David's mother, Doreen, had passed away. The funeral for Janet's stepmother is Friday. It will be a few weeks, as is the custom in the UK, before Mrs. Edwards is laid to rest. Please be in prayer for David, Debbie, and Jack, David's father.

IGNITE Evangelism ConferenceSaturday, May 14, 2022 We believe in responding to Christ’s call to GO. But sometimes, getting started can be intimidating. That’s why we are inviting you to join the Ignite events. To walk alongside others who are just getting started, and go out on mission together. Will you be among the movement of believers who are mobilized to share the gospel right across the country? God is on the move in Canada! This full-day event will help build confidence and prepare those who attend - no matter how experienced or new you are to evangelism - to walk out the door and onto the mission field in your own neighbourhood. Spend the morning learning from Canadian leaders in relational evangelism and encouraging fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who are just getting started. Then put what you’ve learned into practice as, together, we reach out to local communities in the afternoon. The events are free of charge - invite a friend to register too!
