Archbishop: Parish of Hammond River160th Anniversary of Holy Trinity Church and 100th Anniversary of the current building - Sunday, February 12, 2023 Combined 160th Anniversary Celebration of having a Holy Trinity Church in the Hammond River area and 100th Anniversary Celebration of the current Holy Trinity building The original Holy Trinity Church built in 1863 in the Hammond River area was destroyed by fire in 1920 and rebuilt in a location closer to the river. The current Holy Trinity Church was then consecrated in January 1923. To celebrate the 160th and 100th Anniversaries Archbishop David Edwards will be visiting to commemorate the occasion followed by a reception in the church hall. All are invited! Bring a friend! Study: "Let Me Go There"Diocesan Online Lenten Gathering - Monday, February 27, 2023 Join friends from across the diocese during Lent as we read and reflect on Paula Gooder's "Let Me Go There: The Spirit of Lent". In her book, Gooder offers a daily reflection and reading for each day of Lent helping readers to dive deeper into the meaning and significance of the season. The Bishop's Office will host an online gathering for anyone wishing to take part in sharing their reflections and questions from the readings. If you'd like to join the online gatherings, please click the Register Now button. The online gatherings will be hosted on Mondays at either 12noon or 7PM (February 27 - April 3). Continuous service from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Menu: Pancakes with syrup (regular and blueberry), sausages, baked beans, gingerbread with whipped cream, tea/coffee, juice. Gluten-free options available. Donations accepted. All welcome! Cathedral Memorial Hall, 168 Church St., Fredericton. 4:30-6:30 p.m. MENU: pancakes, sausages, and beans followed by gingerbread with toppings. Coffee and tea will be available. Freewill donation. All welcome! Moncton Anglican churches welcome you to BRIX EXPERIENCE, 245 St. George St. for a pancake supper, 4-6 p.m. Free-will offering. MENU: Pancakes, baked beans, bacon, fruit salad. 4 p.m., 4:45 and 5:30 sittings. Holy Trinity Anglican Church in New Maryland, 4:30-6 p.m. MENU: pancakes, sausages, home made baked beans and brown bread, with tea, coffee and gingerbread for dessert. Imagine Christians from over 170 countries coming together in spirit, uniting on a common day to pray for relevant issues affecting women and children. Please join us as we join others in world wide prayer. Refreshments to follow. Friday, March 17 St. Patrick’s Day extravaganza, with music, fantastic desserts, refreshments, silent auction. Hosted by the Youth & Family Ministry Committee. Doors open at 6:30; music starts at 7 p.m. All Saints Parish Hall, 75 King St, St. Andrews.
