You are invited to a coronation breakfast!
As a Constitutional Monarchy, with His Majesty King Charles III as our official Head of State, Canada will witness an historic moment with the Coronation on May 6. And as members of the World Wide Anglican Communion, this event will also be an historic moment in the life of our church. At the center of the coronation is a Christian service in which His Majesty will be anointed as King. It will be rooted in longstanding tradition and Christian symbolism and is an opportunity for us as followers of King Jesus to pray for Charles and others in positions of earthly authority. Join us IN-PERSON at 7 a.m. on Sat. May 6 to view the live-stream of coronation service together at St. Paul's in Hampton. There will be tea and scones at the beginning of the service (bring your favorite tea cup), and breakfast bake and juice to share after the service. All are welcome, so please invite your friends and neighbours. |

Supporting Our Ministriesreconnect & reframe series - Thursday, April 20, 2023 The April edition of the 'ReConnect & ReFrame' series will focus on alternatives to supporting our ministries. Many are aware that we need to consider ways of funding our ministries and outreach initiatives other than just through the weekly offering. Did you know that there are ways and funding sources out there to help support what we are doing, as well as enable us to launch new initiatives? This month we will hear from two gifted individuals who have dedicated their work to helping non-profits and the Church in doing such. Join us for this important information session. For more information, contact Shawn C. Branch. **Please note: not all sessions will be recorded, as requested by the presenters. Comic Relief!
A woman had an attack of laryngitis and lost her voice completely for several days. To help her communicate, her husband devised a system of taps. One tap meant "Give me a kiss," two taps meant "Yes," seven taps meant "No," and 95 taps meant "Take out the garbage." |
