Diocesan Choir School and St. Michael’s Youth Conference are both planning for a busy season this summer. The two camps operated last year after two years of sitting it out due to the pandemic.

Clergy anniversaries are recognized at 10 and 25 years and subsequent 5-year intervals.

A memorial service for Shirley Tapley will be held on Tuesday, May 2 at 2 p.m. at All Saints Anglican Church, Parish of Marysville, 172 Canada Street, Fredericton. A light reception will follow the service.

This course will centre on a series of comparative readings between passages of the New Testament and selections from rabbinic literature.

Prerequisite:  A competent familiarity with the contents of the Old and New Testaments

After the success of our March concert, there will be a second praise and worship concert on April 27 at UNB’s Memorial Hall from 7-9 p.m.

Students from St. Thomas and UNB will lead the audience in prayer, with lyrics projected on a screen to sing along.

The event is free and open to the public of all ages. Parking is available around Memorial Hall, no parking pass is required on campus in the evening.

At the end of May, St. Saviour's Anglican Church in Riga will once again be taking part in the national "Night of Churches," where churches host special services, concerts, events and exhibitions. This year, we would once again love to represent Anglican churches from all over the world, so I am asking for churches to send us a short 1-2 minute video with greetings from the people of that church.

The video can be made however you like! You are welcome to tell something about your congregation, show your church building, sing a song, say a special prayer — it is totally up to you. The most important thing is that we are able to show your special church to people both here in Latvia and throughout the world. We do ask though that you keep it to a maximum of 2 minutes.

I will be putting together an interactive map of the churches where all the videos can be watched, and on the night of the event we will have a special projector screen that shows all of the videos to our guests who come in and out of the church. This map will also be available for people around the world to enjoy, and have a snapshot of what all of these churches were like in the year 2023.

You can send videos and any text that you would like to be included with it in the description and on the map page to josephjhorgan@gmail.com. Once your church has been added to the map, I will send you the link so that you can see it and all the other churches as part of this project. If you can, please try your best to send the videos before the 20th of May.
