Archbishop Claude Miller laid to rest

The Rev. Canon Allen Tapley has been appointed assisting priest in the Parishes of St. Mark, Sussex and Waterford effective July 1; and the Rev. Daniel McMullen is appointed interim rector in the same parishes effective August 1. Mr. Kurt Schmidt has been appointed Director of Young Adult Formation (p/t) as of July 1. His ministry will focus on youth in post-secondary and those connected with our summer camps. He will also be available as a resource to parishes in young adult faith formation. |

Director of Young Adult Formation
Kurt here, the new Diocesan Director of Young Adult Formation. I'm keen and eager to dive into my work right away to support the young adults in our diocese! I'll be aiming to provide innovative leadership and pastoral care, especially to the young people involved with our camping ministries and on our province's university/post-secondary campuses. Thursday, July 13 Annual Strawberry Festival, St. Luke's Parish Hall, 12 Quispamsis Road, Quispamsis. Pickup from 4:30- 6 p.m. Tickets: $18, available by calling Susan at 847-7609. Drive-thru take-out only. Call early. Tickets must be picked up and paid for before dinner. Wednesday, July 19, 6-8 p.m. Strawberry Festival at St Andrew's Sunnybrae, Elmwood Drive, Moncton. Price is $10. Featuring pies, squares, shortcakes, cheesecakes, and trifles. Sunday, July 30, 2-4 p.m. Indigenous healing tea and talk, by Kate Akagi at the Anglican Parish Hall, 75 King Street, St. Andrews. Everyone welcome! Wednesday, Aug. 2, 10 a.m. — 4 p.m. Woven In Time 2023 Quilt Show, at St. Peter's Anglican Church, 20 Church St., St. Stephen. Admission by free-will offering. Hosted by the Anglican Parish of St. Stephen Hand-quilters and the St. Croix Cotton Mill Quilters. |
