Friday, Oct. 20, 4-6 p.m. St. John the Evangelist Church on Fredericton’s north side will hold a “double-stuffed baked potato fundraiser" — this time with even more delicious chili! Your baked potato comes with your choice of dessert: Jewish apple cake or carrot cake. Price is $10; eat-in or take out. Please order ahead by calling the church office: 506-458-9411. Saturday, Oct. 21, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Can I help? The Art Of Visiting People Who Are Lonely, Grieving Or Unwell. Whether you are a family member or friend, you can benefit from this workshop. More than ever people need to be comforted with a visit. This interactive workshop, held at Holy Trinity in the Parish of Hammond River, will help you learn to listen more effectively, refresh skills you already have and make your visit more fulfilling.
