Mission to Seafarers hires new executive director
The Board of Directors of the Saint John Seafarers Mission Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony “Tony” Dickinson as executive director effective July 2. “Tony will be a tremendous asset to the goals of the Saint John Seafarers Mission as we begin a strategic planning process in the coming months to revitalize the services offered by the organization. We were highly impressed by his background and the skills he has developed over the past ten years working at Outflow in Saint John,” said Paul Harquail, chair of Saint John Seafarers Mission Inc. Thousands of seafarers arrive at the port on about 1,000 ships a year, and the Seafarers Mission is there to offer wifi, a listening ear, a place to relax, and in times of crisis, support for what is needed. The Mission to Seafarers is a long-time, world-wide Anglican mission. Visit the website: https://www.sjseafarers.com/ |

St. Michael's Youth Conference - Maritimes
St. Michael’s is an annual conference in the Anglican tradition for youth aged 13–19. Together we pray, study, and play. Since 1987, St Michael’s has formed a vibrant community within the Anglican Church in the Maritimes. Our conference participants—or Michaelites!—don’t do things by half measures. When we worship, we worship God reverently in spirit and truth. When we study, we challenge ourselves to learn deeply. When we kick back for games and activities, we make sure that we have a blast.
