When children and adults in rural areas of the Diocese of Ho, Ghana, need health care, there is literally no where to turn. We'd like to change that.
The Diocese of Fredericton is partnering with our Companion Diocese of Ho in Ghana, the Ho Teaching Hospital, the Rotary Clubs of Ho and Grand Manan, and Rotary International to buy and equip a mobile medical clinic to bring basic health care to the 2,000,000 rural people in the Diocese.
The sooner you can give, the better, in order for us to secure the Rotary matching funds. Thank you for your support.
A word from our partner, the Teaching Hospital in Ho.
The north-eastern District of Rotary has committed $69,000 CDN to this project. It is hoped that Rotary International will match this, along with half of what the Diocese can raise. The current project goal is $260,000 CDN, so that leaves us with a goal of approx. $92,000. More details here.
We also hear that COVID-19 is severly affecting the Diocese of Ho. Please pray for our Diocese of Ho, and for the staff of the Teaching Hospital of Ho who are under much pressure.
