Who’s Invited:
Parish Alongside Hope representatives from the Diocese of Fredericton are invited to join the Regional Gathering on Saturday, June 20. All are invited to participate in the Mapping the Ground We Stand On exercise in the afternoon (1:30-4pm).
Diocesan Alongside Hope representatives and mapping exercise facilitators representatives from the Ecclesiastical Province of Canada will also be meeting on Friday.
Time together will include:
• Information session on Alongside Hope
• Volunteer networking session to get to know one another, share experiences and encourage one another
• Presentation on Alongside Hope’s Kenya partners and experiences from the 2025 Alongside Hope delegation and the 2026 Candian Food Grains Bank Learning Tour.
• Mapping The Ground We Stand On (mapping exercise) — Alongside Hope’s education for reconciliation workshop
• A focused conversation with Candian Food Grains Bank and diocesan reps on collaboration and on encouraging opportunities for Grow Hope projects

Come participate in one of the most iconic, interactive exercises to better explore indigenous history and settler relationships in Canada. This afternoon event (1:30 - 4:00 pm) is open to all to attend.
