Archbishop David, during the Maundy Thursday Renewal of Vows service, said:

[This pandemic time] "has been a great disruption, and we need to take time to pray. Those with leadership responsibility need to encourage congregations to pray. We need to spend time being refreshed by God...As we move into this changing phase, we, too, need to take some time. In ministry, in leadership, we’ve seen changes, and all kinds of things have happened to us."

This year's conference will be shaped in an interactive retreat style including a rhythm of corporate prayer, speaker sessions, silent reflection and opportunities to experience different prayer activities.  Each session will be around one hour in length.  Opportunity will be given for participants to choose a different prayer activity for each of two sessions.

Because of the nature of this year's conference and the planning required, the deadline to register is noon on Thursday, August 18.

Keynote speaker is:  Dr. Wanda Malcolm

Dr. Malcolm is offering the Malcolm Inventory of Satisfaction & Stress in Ministry (MISSiM) questionnaire at the not-for-profit cost of $25.00 (you can claim through CEP). This will need to be completed before August 15 to ensure you have your report in time.  Please use the code “DF22” and then send the $25 by e-transfer to to pay for your report.

The COVID-19 situation is still fluid. The NB government Living with COVID-19 webpage provides tips for mitigation of risk under the protecting yourself and others tab. Although wearing a mask is no longer mandatory, participants are encouraged to be prepared to wear a mask when physical distancing isn't possible.
