Please join us for a Gathering of the PWRDF parish representatives and friends in the Diocese of Fredericton. Everyone is welcome. We are planning a great agenda that will both entertain and inform you about the works of PWRDF and its partners in Canada and in the world. We will be sharing our challenges and successes with staff from PWRDF and each other.

The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) is the official development and relief agency of the Anglican Church of Canada. PWRDF partners with church-based and secular development and relief organizations to respond to humanitarian crises, carry out long-term community development and engage Canadians in education and advocacy. With partners, PWRDF seeks to support vulnerable people and communities to become agents of their own transformation. Programs address poverty, gender justice and climate action. Public engagement and communication work supports our partners’ initiatives in Canada and abroad.

During this year's diocesan gathering, you will enjoy the presentations by members of the staff of PWRDF that have a hands on involvement in the programs, including:

  • Carolyn Cummins, Director, Fundraising and Supporter Relations, will provide an update about the work of partners and how they have been managing throughout the pandemic. She will also discuss PWRDF’s vision for the future and some current fundraising campaigns.
  • Janice Biehn, Communications Coordinator, will provide an overview of the digital tools available to us. She is responsible for the PWRDF website, and provides PWRDF stories for use in our ministries. Janice produces “Under the Sun,” the Annual report and all things related to communications.
  • Kim Umback, Volunteer Coordinator, will share some ways that volunteers have been promoting and supporting the work of PWRDF partners, in their parishes and communities. She will also discuss how PWRDF staff can help you, as volunteers.

Please register in advance to get the link to join.

We are looking forward to seeing you there!
