Started in 2019 from a small, rural United Church in New Brunswick, RRTH is now an annual Maritime gathering, a space of nurture for lay and clergy in rural congregations of any denomination. It’s a gathering with time for both structured and informal conversations, worship, education, prayer, good food, singing and stories. Together we share ways in which members of rural congregations might remain grounded in and able to share the Gospel, despite sometimes challenging circumstances. Together we form a place of encouragement providing resources for rural faith communities.
Speakers this year are the Rev. Dr. Rob Fennell and Shawna Lucas. Their workshop will dive into “walking with purpose” – a reflective micro-pilgrimage that will help us attune mind, body, and soul on the trails of Sackville.
