As a diocese, we are blessed with two beautiful summer camps. Camps Brookwood and Medley have been home to many memories and new friendships for many years. Both offer a unique environment, that is away from the normal routine of urban/city life as well as program and resource offers.
Camp Brookwood, located just outside Florenceville-Bristol NB, is home to a maximum of 26 campers. For more information, visit Brookwood's website.
Camp Medley, located along the St John River (Wolastoq) in Upper Gagetown NB, is home to a maximum of 125 campers and offers a variety of programs throughout the summer as well as being a space for retreats and small gatherings in the shoulder seasons. For more information, visit Medley's website.
There are two non-traditional summer camps, led by numerous gifted leaders from our diocese, each about one week in length: Diocesan Choir School and St. Michael's Youth Conference.
Diocesan Choir School is for youth (ages 8 and up) and adults where sacred choral music is experienced in a residential camp-like setting. We sing a lot, play a lot, eat a lot, and learn more than we realize in our short time together. See the choir school website for more information.
Saint Michael’s Youth Conference offers youth a community which seeks both a clearer vision of God in Jesus Christ and the strength and power to serve God and His Church, through worship, study, discussion, recreation and relaxation. Visit the conference website for more information.
