The first service of Holy Communion held in Harcourt was held in the home of Rev. Henry Holloway who arrived from England on May 26, 1884. That first service was held Trinity Sunday, June 18, 1884. The land on which the church was built was registered on October 8, 1884.
The building was only consecrated August 30, 1987 by Archbishop Harold Nutter.
