Missional Church of the Future?Inhabiting an Integrated Mixed Ecology Church - Thursday, October 23, 2025 While the Parish has never been the only way of being church, it’s often the only church technology many of us can imagine. And yet, in many communities across the West, church leaders and missioners are discovering the gifts of a mixed-ecology church. What is a Mixed Ecology Church? A Mixed Ecology Church is the place where traditional church and emerging forms of Christian community coexist side by side, seeking mutual flourishing. The goal of a Mixed Ecology church is to thrive together, for the sake of connecting diverse groups of people with Jesus’ liberating gospel, in ways that they couldn’t do alone.
