Shawn C. Branch

Shawn has been involved in Christian ministry since his early 20s and was commissioned as an Evangelist in 2004. His passion is helping individuals discover their vocational calling and become agents of change in their communities.

Licensed as an Evangelist in the Anglican Church, he works across denominations to strengthen outreach and support missional engagement.

Since 2018, Shawn has served the Diocese of Fredericton, currently as Director of Mission & Ministry, supporting the bishop’s vision for vibrant, mission-focused communities. He oversees clergy and lay formation, vocational discernment, leadership development, and parish health. In November 2025, he was appointed a Canon of Christ Church Cathedral, Fredericton.

Outside the diocese, Shawn offers leadership and vocational coaching for ministry and nonprofit leaders with a focus on resilience, clarity, and sustainable leadership. Before joining the Diocese, he spent a decade in national-level ministry leadership, guiding mission strategies, developing training programs, and supporting emerging leaders across Canada. Earlier in his career, he served in youth ministry and camp leadership.
