Shawn has been involved in Christian ministry since his early 20s and was commissioned as an Evangelist in 2004. His passion in ministry is seeing individuals released in their vocational calling and empowered to be agents of change in their communities.
Licensed as an Evangelist in the Anglican Church, Shawn is committed to working with all denominations that want to strengthen their outreach and commitment to the Great Commission.
Since January 2018, he has been serving the Diocese of Fredericton, currently as Director of Mission & Ministry. His focus is on mobilizing congregations to reach out into their communities and helping raise up innovative church leaders. Prior to this, he was the national director of an evangelistic organization from 2012 to 2017.
Areas of Focus:
- Develops and assists with mission strategies within the Diocese
- Formation teaching, training and support
- Vocations and ordained ministry training
- Provides support to the Bishop as required
