Cathy began serving as the Anglican chaplain to both the Saint John Regional Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital within the Horizon Health Network in December of 2023.
Cathy received her BSc.Eng. (Mechanical) from the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, and her M.Div. (Honours) from Queen's College, NL. She was ordained a deacon and priest in 2006 and has served in: The Anglican Parishes of Pictou County; The Parish of Heart's Content; The Parish of Shediac (sharing in ministry with the Parish of Kent); The Diocese of Fredericton Synod Office as the Executive Archdeacon and the Secretary of the Synod and then as Episcopal Archdeacon.
Cathy lives in Quispamsis where she enjoys riding her Honda Shadow which reminds her of the importance of constantly leaning into God. Connecting with her four great nieces and nephews enables her to welcome all the childlike qualities that reflect an innate sense of the presence of God within one's life. She enjoys hiking, kayaking and camping and engages daily in an Ignatian way.
