Jonathan DesRoches

Jonathan DesRoches grew up in Fredericton and now lives in Douglas. His background spans business ownership, finance, real estate, theology and communications, with much of his work centred on people, relationships, problem-solving and helping ideas move from vision to reality.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Leadership from Pacific Life Bible College and a Master of Divinity from Acadia Divinity College. He is currently completing a Master of Theology in Counselling and Spiritual Care.

As Communications Manager for the Diocese of Fredericton, Jonathan brings a love of storytelling, strategic thinking and big-picture planning to his work. He enjoys creating structure, developing ideas and finding meaningful ways to connect people with the life and mission of the Church.

Outside of his work with the Diocese, Jonathan remains active in real estate, where his husband, Dylan, works alongside him as his full-time licensed assistant. When they aren’t working, they enjoy home projects, cooking, travelling, walking, coffee, and the occasional drive with no particular destination in mind. Jonathan is also a self-confessed Walt Disney World theme park fanatic, and he and Dylan make an annual pilgrimage there each spring.
