Parishes are required to hold their Annual Meetings in January or February. The meeting can be held in-person or by using a virtual meeting technology. If for some uncontrollable reason a meeting is not held parish officers continue in office until the AGM can occur and elections can be held. A new meeting date requires three weeks notice. No parish business that involves voting can be done by email.
