Overview

When we pray the Lord’s Prayer, we are praying for what Jesus wants to happen in the world. We live in a time, as Jesus did, in a world all too full of injustice, hunger, and malice. This prayer cries out for justice, bread, forgiveness and deliverance.

Objectives

On completion of this course you should be able to:

  1. Describe how the Lord’s Prayer impacts our understanding of Meeting a Gracious God; Fixing a Broken World; Satisfying the Hungry Heart; Healing a Wounded Family; and Facing Our Worst Fears.
  2. Understand and describe the relevance the Lord’s Prayer currently has or has had on your life journey.
  3. Describe the difference between being a boarder or a family member.
